Jonathan defeats Drew in HGTV’S ‘BROTHER VS. BROTHER’

During last night’s nail-biting finale episode of HGTV’s “Brother vs. Brother”, Jonathan ultimately bested his twin brother Drew in the series last home renovation battle: best home exterior and landscaping. The six-episode series followed the popular Scott Brothers as they each vied to buy, renovate and sell a Las Vegas home at the highest net profit. In the end, the funds generated by the Brother vs. Brother home sales totaled more than $106,000.

“Beating Drew again in Brother vs. Brother is unbelievable,” said Jonathan. “When I decided to go with a mid-century modern design, I knew it was a risk, but the gamble paid off.”

“It’s tough losing to Jonathan,” replied Drew. “No matter how the competition went, all of the money goes back to the community and that’s what’s important.”

Throughout the series, the challenge loser faced embarrassing dares such as playing the jester in a live-action medieval dinner show and cleaning the priceless cars of Vegas icon Wayne Newton. The challenge winner enjoyed the spoils, including a private tour of illusionist David Copperfield’s magic studio.

Produced by Scott Brothers Entertainment, with Jonathan and Drew as executive producers, Brother vs. Brother pitted the twins against each other as they put their home renovation and real estate skills to the test. Each brother bought a Las Vegas fixer-upper and renovated every room -- competing to win votes of HGTV guest judges in a weekly match-up.
